Real Madrid are plotting a late bid to prise Christian Eriksen away from Tottenham Hotspur, according to a report.
Eriksen has just one year remaining on his Spurs contract and has made no secret of his desire to "try something new".
According to The Sun, Real Madrid are waiting for the final hours of the transfer window to make their move, in a bid to force Tottenham to sell.
The Dane has no desire to sign a new contract at Spurs, and Madrid president Florentino Perez will offer £60m to take him to the Bernabeu.
Despite the uncertainty over his future, Eriksen has featured in both of Tottenham's Premier League matches this season - as a substitute in the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa and from the start in the 2-2 draw at Manchester City on Saturday.
