Tottenham Hotspur have rejected a £17m bid from Napoli for right-back Kieran Trippier, according to a report.
The England international recently confessed that he has endured a disappointing campaign at club level following his heroics in helping the Three Lions to the World Cup semi-finals last summer.
Trippier remains an integral member of Mauricio Pochettino's squad, however, and respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Spurs will not cash in unless the price is right.
Napoli's offer is said to have fallen below what the Lilywhites deem an acceptable offer which, despite his lack of consistency over the last nine months, is expected to be closer to the £40m mark.
Everton and Manchester United have also been tipped to make a move for Trippier, who is under contract with the North London outfit for another three years.
