Roma have joined Real Madrid in the race to sign Tottenham and England defender Kyle Walker.
The 21-year-old has performed well for the North London club so far this season after impressing in the European Under-21 Championships in the summer, a run of form which has not gone unnoticed.
Reports last week linked Real Madrid with a shock move to sign Walker but Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport has claims that Roma have also been monitoring the attacking right-back's progress.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will be desperate to keep Walker at White Hart Lane but may find it impossible to resist a large offer from the continent.
The former Sheffield United defender joined Spurs in 2009.
