Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly been given a boost in their pursuit of Ryan Sessegnon, after the Fulham winger decided he wishes to remain in London.
Sessegnon was linked with a move to Spurs last summer after starring in the Cottagers' promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs, but chairman Shahid Khan was determined to keep hold of the youngster.
According to The Mirror, Spurs will reignite their interest in Sessegnon after the 18-year-old revealed his desire to stay in the capital if he leaves Craven Cottage.
The report adds that manager Mauricio Pochettino is willing to spend £50m of his transfer budget on the Fulham academy graduate, who has also been the subject of interest from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Sessegnon's current team sit 19th in the Premier League table, 13 points from safety with eight games left to play.
