West Ham United defender Issa Diop has reportedly emerged as a January transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Despite Toby Alderweireld penning a new contract earlier this week, recently-appointed Spurs boss Jose Mourinho remains keen on strengthening his backline.
According to Sky Sports News, this could result in a big-money offer being made for centre-back Diop.
The interest could stem from the 22-year-old recently spending time out of the Hammers starting lineup, which was initially due to a one-match ban.
However, regardless of the Frenchman's lack of game time, the report adds that West Ham have no intention of parting ways with one of their biggest assets.
The East London outfit allegedly value Diop in excess of £50m - a figure which Spurs are unlikely to meet at the midway point of the campaign.
