Everton midfielder Ross Barkley has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
So far this season, Barkley has been inconsistent under the guidance of Ronald Koeman, and it has been claimed that the Toffees are assessing his current valuation with the player having just 18 months left on his current contract.
If no new deal is agreed, the 23-year-old is likely to attract offers during the January transfer window, and according to the Evening Standard, Spurs have enquired about his availability.
It has been suggested that a move at the start of 2017 is unlikely but Everton could be swayed should they receive an offer in the region of £35m for the England international's signature.
Barkley has scored 24 goals in 156 appearances for the Merseyside outfit in all competitions.
