Christian Eriksen has reportedly been informed that he is expected to return to pre-season training at the end of the week.
After a successful six-year spell at the Premier League outfit, Eriksen could move elsewhere this summer as a result of having just 12 months remaining on his contract.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with an approach for the playmaker, although it appears that the Denmark international may not be the Spanish side's preferred target.
A transfer to Real or elsewhere appears some way off, and The Telegraph claim that Spurs see no reason why the 27-year-old should not be back at their training facilities later this week.
As it stands, Eriksen will also be part of the group which will travel to Asia for their pre-season tour next Wednesday.
