Tottenham Hotspur are mulling over a move for out-of-favour Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld this summer, according to reports.
The People claims that Spurs scouts have recommended the Belgium international to new manager Mauricio Pochettino, and the 25-year-old may see a move to White Hart Lane as a good option in his search for regular first-team football.
However, it is rumoured that any deal for Alderweireld will depend on whether fellow Atletico defender Miranda leaves the Vicente Calderon during the transfer window, with the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United and Chelsea all pondering a swoop for the Brazilian centre-back.
Meanwhile, his teammate Diego Godin, who scored the side's only goal in last month's Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, is also being linked with a move away from the Spanish capital.
