Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly fearful that more players in their first-team squad could chose to run down their contracts.
Despite being told that he would not be receiving a new deal at the Premier League club, Danny Rose has revealed that he has no intention of exiting the North Londoners until 2021.
According to the Daily Star, Spurs are now wary that Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen could all opt to do the same as their teammate.
Each of the high-profile trio are currently in line to become free agents at the end of the campaign - something which Spurs are keen to avoid given the value of each player.
While Spurs would not contemplate selling all three men during January, it leaves chairman Daniel Levy under pressure to agree fresh terms with at least one of the long-serving members of the squad.
As it stands, it would appear that offers will be entertained for Eriksen at the midway point of the campaign.
