Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a January swoop for Norwich City defender Ben Godfrey.
The 21-year-old starred for the Canaries during their 2018-19 Championship campaign, while he has been an ever-present for the club during the early stages of the new Premier League season.
According to Football Insider, Spurs were interested in Godfrey during the summer transfer window, but the centre-back went on to sign a new long-term deal at Carrow Road.
The report claims that the London club are still in the hunt for the Englishman, though, and are keen to tie up a deal when the winter transfer window opens for business.
Norwich, who have taken four points from their last two Premier League games against Everton and Arsenal, are said to value Godfrey in the region of £25m.
As it stands, Jose Mourinho's side will lose both Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld on free transfers at the end of the season with the pair out of contract next June.
