Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly tabled an opening bid of £22m for Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi.
The 25-year-old has been in impressive form for the Turkish outfit during the 2019-20 campaign, notching up 13 goals in 25 Super Lig matches.
Manchester United were previously credited with an interest in the Kosovo international, but according to Fanatik, Spurs have made their first bid for the striker.
The report claims that Jose Mourinho's side have offered £22m for Muriqi, who will see his deal at Fenerbahce expire at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Spurs are supposedly looking to bolster their attacking options following Harry Kane's long-term injury, with the England captain having been out since New Year's Day with a hamstring problem.
Muriqi is Kosovo's top scorer with eight goals from 23 appearances, and netted against England in a 5-3 European Championship qualifying defeat back in September.
