Southampton goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Last season's Premier League runners-up are yet to make a first-team signing this summer, but it appears that head coach Mauricio Pochettino is ready to become active with just four weeks left of the window.
According to The Sun, the Argentine is keen on a reunion with Gazzaniga, with whom he worked at St Mary's before making the switch to Spurs.
Last month, it was claimed that the Saints were willing to part ways with the 25-year-old, who spent the most recent campaign on loan at Rayo Vallecano.
Should Gazzaniga move to Spurs, the Argentine would act as another option behind Hugo Lloris, who currently holds the number-one position ahead of Michel Vorm.
It has been suggested that Spurs think they can complete a deal for a fee in the region of £2m.
