Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly had a bid for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie rejected by the Italian giants.
The 23-year-old has been an important player for the Old Lady during the 2021-22 campaign, making 19 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals in the process.
McKennie's future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, and according to Calciomercato, Tottenham have been in contact with the Serie A outfit over the last few months.
The report claims that Juventus want £25m for the United States international, but the Premier League club's offer fell short of the asking price.
Meanwhile, it is also claimed that Spurs offered Tanguy Ndombele to the Italian side in exchange for McKennie, but the offer was also turned down.
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is said to be keen to boost his midfield with a new signing during the January window, with the capital outfit challenging for a top-four finish in the Premier League. body check tags ::
