Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has said that Milan Skriniar will not be leaving the club in the latter stages of the transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur have been strongly linked with the 25-year-old and are believed to have been in talks with Inter over the last week in the hope of agreeing a deal.
However, Ausilio has confirmed that the Slovakia international, who fell down the pecking order at San Siro in the latter stages of last season, will not be on the move ahead of the deadline.
"The transfer market is still open for a few more days. We've brought in those we want and in fact have a few in excess. I said the other day there has been contact for Skriniar, we did not receive any particularly impressive offers and he is not for sale," Ausilio told Sky Italia.
A recent report claimed that Inter value Skriniar at £55m - a figure that Jose Mourinho's side are allegedly not prepared to pay in the current market.
Fulham have also recently been credited with an interest in the central defender.
