Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly submitted an offer to sign Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay in the summer window.
The Netherlands international only arrived in Catalonia from Lyon less than 12 months ago and has amassed 10 goals and two assists in 19 La Liga games for the Blaugrana so far.
Depay's deal at Camp Nou is due to expire at the end of next season, though, and his long-term future has been called into question amid his struggles for consistent starts.
PSV Eindhoven have been linked with a move for their former starlet, while Serie A duo Inter Milan and Juventus have also been credited with an interest.
Now, journalist Gerard Romero - via barcacentre - claims that Tottenham have made a bid to prise Depay away from Barcelona as a question mark hangs over the head of Harry Kane's next career move.
Depay has struggled with hamstring and Achilles injuries this term - starting 15 top-flight games for the Blaugrana - and he came off the bench for a 17-minute cameo in the thrashing of Osasuna on Sunday.
The 28-year-old previously scored two goals and set up one more in 33 Premier League appearances during his ill-fated spell with Manchester United. body check tags ::
