Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has reportedly decided that he would like Danny Rose to return to the club this summer.
The England youth international has spent the entire season on loan with Sunderland, who are thought to be keen to secure his services on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
However, Villas-Boas has been impressed by the 22-year-old's performances for the Black Cats and is eager for him to be part of his squad at White Hart Lane, according to Sky Sports News.
Rose himself is thought to be open to the possibility of staying at Sunderland, having recently insisted that his future would not be sorted out until the ongoing campaign had concluded.
The full-back joined Tottenham in 2007 from Leeds United.
