Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has praised Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose while avoiding talk around a possible move for the England international.
The 28-year-old has faced an uncertain future at Spurs since criticising the club's ambition and wage structure in 2017, for which he subsequently apologised.
Rose has also struggled for game time in North London, making just 10 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham last season after returning in October from a knee ligament injury.
As a result, the player has been linked with a loan move elsewhere, with PSG and German side Schalke 04 having been credited with an interest.
"I will not comment on transfer rumours," Tuchel told reporters at a press conference ahead of PSG's Ligue 1 match against Angers.
"I will simply say that I came up against Tottenham Hotspur three years ago and it took me three days to work out how best to combat [Rose]."
Rose, capped 23 times by England at senior level, is under contract with Tottenham until 2021.
