Valencia president Amadeo Salvo has revealed that the club is yet to receive a firm offer for striker Roberto Soldado, despite alleged interest from the Premier League.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but Salvo has declared that the La Liga outfit's star players will not be sold at a cut price.
"Valencia will stand firm and we have not received any offers for Roberto Soldado," he told reporters.
"There will always be players who are linked with a possible exit and when Valencia, who own the players' rights, decide they will leave then we will not be letting them go for nothing.
"The fans are aware we won't be playing in the Champions League next season and that we have an economic model to follow, so that conditions what we do, but we have to accept there will sometimes be criticism."
Spurs reportedly offered £17m for Soldado, whose release clause is believed to be £26m.
