Valencia president Amadeo Salvo has declared that clubs hoping to sign Roberto Soldado must agree a deal by August 3 or lose out on the Spanish striker.
Soldado has been persistently linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, with the forward available to any team willing to meet a £25m release clause in his contract.
Salvao has conceded that Valencia are ready to part with the forward, but only if an agreement can be reached for his departure in the next two weeks.
The Mirror quotes him as saying: "If any club wants our striker, they are obliged to accept our conditions.
"And the price on the market has a clause. Until August 3, we accept that a deal may happen and we can negotiate. But after that date, he will not leave us."
The 28-year-old scored 28 goals in all competitions for Valencia last season, earning a recall to the Spanish national side in the process.
