Spanish club Villarreal are looking to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovanni dos Santos, according to Sport.
The Mexican international joined Spurs in 2008 from Barcelona.
However, he has struggled to break through into the starting lineup and is reportedly keen on a switch back to Spain.
Villarreal are believed to be looking to boost their midfield options this month, although they may face competition from Sevilla.
