Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed reports that Tottenham Hotspur have received interest in Croatian midfielder Luka Modric.
The likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid have all been linked with the 26-year-old playmaker during the ongoing summer transfer window.
While stressing that Modric is an important part of his squad, Villas-Boas conceded that his time at White Hart Lane could be nearing an end.
"The interest that we have from various different clubs shows the importance of the player and what he's done for Tottenham," Villas-Boas told reporters.
"Ongoing discussions will continue with these clubs until we reach an agreement which is acceptable for each party."
Modric joined Spurs in 2008 from Dinamo Zagreb.
