West Bromwich Albion have reportedly agreed a club-record fee with Tottenham Hotspur for Nacer Chadli.
Baggies boss Tony Pulis has made no secret of his desire to bring in five new faces before Wednesday's transfer deadline, with the likes of Jay Rodriguez and Calum Chambers also linked with The Hawthorns.
A loan move had been mooted for Chadli, but Sky Sports News now reports that West Brom are willing to break their transfer record to sign the 27-year-old in a deal worth £13m.
Chadli has made 119 appearances for Spurs, scoring 25 goals, but he has failed to even make the bench in their opening three Premier League fixtures this season.
West Brom have made just one permanent transfer so far this summer, bringing in Matt Phillips from Queens Park Rangers for £5.5m.
Chadli is expected to undergo a medical in the next 48 hours ahead of his proposed switch, which would see him surpass Salomon Rondon as the club's most expensive signing ever.
