West Ham United are reportedly keeping a close eye on developments surrounding former Tottenham Hotspur winger Marcus Edwards.
The 22-year-old currently plies his trade in the Portuguese league with Vitoria Guimaraes having left Tottenham last year, and Edwards has registered one goal and two assists in the current top-flight campaign.
Edwards is under contract with the Portuguese outfit until 2023, but a number of Premier League clubs reportedly want to lure him back to England after his impressive showings for Vitoria.
According to TEAMtalk, West Ham are showing a strong interest in the midfielder, while Fulham, Crystal Palace and Southampton are also among the Premier League clubs interested.
However, the report also claims that it is not just top-flight clubs vying for his signature, with Brentford, Swansea City and Bournemouth all in the race, as well as Portuguese sides Porto and Sporting Lisbon.
Edwards bagged nine goals and nine assists for Vitoria in his maiden season with the Liga NOS team last year.
