Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that Gareth Bale is expected to join Real Madrid in the next few days.

The Welsh winger has been heavily linked with a record move to the Spanish giants all summer, but the transfer saga now looks to be coming to an end.

However, the Spurs boss added that the club could fine Bale for refusing to attend training over the past 48 hours.
