St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has sung the praises of goalkeeper Alan Mannus following his team's surprise 1-0 victory over Rosenborg in the Europa League.
The Scottish side take a slender lead into the second leg of their second qualifying round thanks to an impressive display from the Northern Irish stopper.
"I have known Allan a long time and I have never, ever doubted his ability. He knows that," Wright told BBC Sport.
"I said before the game 'you have been here before with Shamrock Rovers. I know I can depend on you tonight'.
"'I know when called upon you will make the saves that you'll do and I know that you're experience will get us through the game.'"
Wright was quick to point out that Mannus was not the only member of the team to impress in Norway, acknowledging that his side defended solidly too.
"I was pleased for them all. It's easy to pick out the goalkeeper but there were lots of headers and blocks at the end - stuff that we love doing," he added.
Defender Frazer Wright scored the only goal of the game in the 19th minute.
