St Johnstone manager Tommy Wright has declared that he was pleased with his side's 0-0 draw with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
The Saints boss insisted that his side did enough to deserve to take a point from the match despite being on the back foot for lengthy spells.
"I'm delighted with the point," PA Sport quotes him as saying. "It was an excellent point for us, particularly after the emotion of Thursday night and the physical exertions, even though we did freshen it up a little bit.
"I'm really pleased and I thought we showed a lot of character.
"Allan [Johnston] probably thinks they deserved all three points but, with the effort we put in, I thought we deserved to take a point from the game."
The result leaves Kilmarnock in eighth place in the Scottish Premiership, while St Johnstone occupy fourth.
