Stoke City confirmed this morning ahead of their lunchtime Premier League game against Manchester United that defender Erik Pieters has signed a new contract with the club until 2020.
The 27-year-old left-back has extended his previous deal by three years to commit his long-term future to the Potters.
"I can look forward to a bright future here now," he told the club website. "I love being here, I have enjoyed it from the moment I first arrived here and I think we will only continue to grow stronger together."
Pieters joined Stoke from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2013 and has gone on to make 91 appearances for them.
