Eidur Gudjohnsen has put pen to paper on a two-year deal at AEK Athens.
The 32-year-old has joined the Greek club after initial interest from Premier League relegates West Ham petered out.
The former Chelsea and Barcelona forward spent a tumultuous season in the top flight after a disappointing loan stint at Tottenham, followed by a move to Stoke in which Gudjohnsen failed to cement a permanent position in the side.
The Icelandic footballer finished last season on loan to Fulham.
