Mark Hughes is hopeful that goalkeeper Asmir Begovic will stay with Stoke City beyond the end of the season.
There are rumours that the Bosnian will seek a move to a bigger club in the summer after over five years at the Britannia Stadium.
Having given Jack Butland an opportunity between the sticks in Stoke's last two games, Hughes has confirmed that Begovic will return to the side for their Premier League finale at home to Liverpool on Sunday, and is optimistic that it will not be his last game for the Potters.
"Asmir is very much our player, which we are really pleased about," he is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying.
"He is playing on Sunday and is somebody that we want to keep here, as I have said many times before.
"We will sit down with him, speak to him and his people and look for those talks to come to a positive conclusion."
Begovic, who has made 171 appearances for Stoke since joining from Portsmouth in 2010, has been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid.
