Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has revealed that he is looking to do business in the January transfer window.
The Potters have had a good first half to the season, remaining unbeaten at home and going 10 matches without a loss until this afternoon's defeat to Manchester City.
However, despite this good form Pulis is still looking to strengthen in January, but admits that he may have to be shrewd with any business he does.
"We would like to do some business but we have to wheel and deal as well. We have to get a few out," said Pulis.
"If we can do that we will try to get a couple in. I think the squad needs a little bit of fresh blood but we have to generate it. We can't go out and spend the money.
"If we get room and space and the players are available, then we will do it."
Stoke currently sit ninth in the Premier League table, level on points with eighth-placed Swansea City.
