Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has insisted that he will have to wait until the end of January to secure the best transfer deals for his club.
The Potters have been linked with a move for Blackpool's Alex Baptiste and Middlesbrough's George Friend, but Pulis has revealed that no players will be arriving at the Britannia Stadium in the coming days.
The manager told reporters: "I am looking to bring a couple of players in.
"However, it will not be until the back end of the month because that's when you get the best deals."
Pulis has seen his side fall to 10th place in the Premier League table in recent weeks.
