Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Rennes forward Paul-Georges Ntep.
The 22-year-old has scored six times in 17 Ligue 1 games this season, with his performances said to have attracted a host of European interest.
According to the Stoke Sentinel, Stoke are preparing an £8m move for the 22-year-old, but will face stiff competition in the January transfer window.
Ntep was born in Cameroon, but has made 15 appearances for France's Under-21 side. As it stands, he is free to represent either nation at senior level.
