Stoke City have reportedly identified Huddersfield Town winger Tom Ince as a potential summer signing.
The Potters are currently in the process of strengthening their squad after relegation to the Championship, while Xherdan Shaqiri has already departed for Liverpool.
The exit of the Switzerland international has left new boss Gary Rowett looking to find a replacement, and Newcastle United's Matt Ritchie has been strongly linked with a switch to the bet365 Stadium.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Staffordshire-based outfit are considering a bid for Ince, who has previously worked with Rowett at Derby County.
The 26-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract, but head coach David Wagner has been active in the transfer market this summer with Ramadan Sobhi having already arrived from Stoke.
During the most recent campaign, Ince contributed two goals in 33 outings for the Terriers in the top flight.
