Stoke City will reportedly make a move for Dundee goalkeeper Scott Bain at the end of the season, even if they manage to keep hold of Jack Butland.
The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Scottish giants Celtic and recently suggested that he would like to join permanently in the summer.
A number of clubs north and south of the border are said to have shown an interest, though, including Hearts, Hibernian, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Birmingham City.
Stoke have added their name to that growing list, according to The Sun, as they intend to bring in another goalkeeper regardless of what the future holds for in-demand stopper Butland.
Bain, who will become a free agent in two months' time, has kept a clean sheet in two of his three Scottish Premiership outings for Celtic since arriving on loan.
