Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion have reportedly reached an impasse in negotiations regarding the potential transfer of Saido Berahino.
Potters boss Mark Hughes is a known admirer of the 22-year-old, while West Brom are prepared to allow the attacker to leave The Hawthorns after a disappointing 12 months in the West Midlands.
However, according to the Express & Star, Stoke will not increase their bid of £16m and West Brom refuse to sell the England Under-21 international for less than £20m.
It is claimed that Hughes feels that he can tempt Berahino to the Britannia Stadium, despite both Southampton and Watford showing an interest in the forward.
