Stoke City have reportedly decided to part ways with Kevin Wimmer during the summer transfer window.
Last summer, Stoke paid £18m to sign the defender from Tottenham Hotspur but the Austrian international has failed to impress at the bet365 Stadium, with the last of his 17 Premier League appearances coming in January.
According to The Telegraph, the Potters have accepted that they will be unable to recoup close to the money that was spent before the start of the season, but still intend to sell the centre-back.
The report claims that a number of teams from the Bundesliga are interested in the 25-year-old, although it remains to be seen whether any club will be prepared to pay in the region of £9m.
Wimmer still has just over four years remaining on his contract at the Staffordshire-based outfit.
