Stoke City chairman Peter Coates has rubbished reports that the club are willing to sell Marko Arnautovic in January.
The Austrian winger is believed to have attracted interest from Feyenoord, who reportedly want to sign the player on a six-month deal.
However, Coates told The Sentinel: "He has been an important player for us and remains so. I don't imagine we would even think about releasing him, even if there was an offer in January.
"When he has come in he has done well this season and we have all seen what a wonderful player he can be."
Arnautovic has started just three Premier League games for Stoke this season.
