Stoke City have announced the arrival of midfielder Badou Ndiaye from Galatasaray after completing all of the relevant paperwork before the deadline day cut-off point.
The Potters were in a race against time to finalise a £14m deal for the 27-year-old, who has 17 Super Lig outings under his belt this term.
Ndiaye arrived in Britain on Tuesday and a medical has now been completed, though the transfer was still dependent on Stoke being granted the relevant clearance.
Confirmation of the move arrived just over two hours before the 11pm deadline, with the Senegal international later introduced to supporters at half time of City's home match against Watford.
Ndiaye, who reportedly came close to joining West Ham United last summer, leaves Galatasaray after just six months at the club.
