Jamie Ness is reportedly poised to sign for Stoke City after deciding to quit Rangers.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who came through the Gers youth academy, is believed to be on course to agreeing a free transfer to the Potters, according to BBC Sport.
Ness, who has been plagued with injury problems over the last year, decided to reject a transfer of his contract to Charles Green's newco at Ibrox and is just one in a growing list of players who have decided to abandon the Glasgow-based outfit.
The playmaker made his first-team debut for the former Scottish Premier League champions in 2010.
