Stoke City are believed to be prepared to sell winger Jermaine Pennant in order to acquire the funds to capture Blackburn Rovers' Junior Hoilett.
The sought-after winger is thought to be valued at £8m and Potters boss Tony Pulis believes that offloading Pennant will pave the way for Hoilett to move to the Britannia Staidum, according to the Daily Mail.
Speculation regarding a feud between the former Liverpool winger and Pulis could be a potential factor in the club's decision to sell the player.
It is thought that Blackburn manager Steve Kean will struggle to keep hold of Hoilett as the club's owners Venky's are reportedly allowing other clubs to poach all players apart from the Rovers' summer signings.
