Sunderland manager Paolo Di Canio has suggested that Phil Bardsley may have played his last match for the club.
The full-back was recently pictured laying on the floor of a casino, covered in a large number of £50 notes.
Speaking after his side's 1-0 loss away at Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon, the Italian coach has described the Scotland international's actions as "disgusting".
"They can't stay with me, people who behave like that. In that way it is too easy to push those people out," Di Canio told BBC Sport. "Talking about strict rules. It was disgusting. These people can't train with me.
"If people don't care about the reaction of the family at 30 years of age, it is difficult to change. We have to be careful in the future."
Bardsley joined the Black Cats from Manchester United in 2008.
