Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe has expressed an interest in leaving the Stadium of Light for a move to the South Coast, according to reports.
The veteran forward is said to be disillusioned with his side's poor start to the Premier League season, the Black Cats going down 3-1 against Norwich City and losing 4-2 against Leicester City in their campaign opener.
As a result, The Metro claims that Bournemouth could make a bid for the 32-year-old after reportedly looking into a move for him back in May.
In January, Defoe signed a three-and-a-half year deal at the Stadium of Light from MLS side Toronto.
