Sunderland captain John O'Shea has revealed that he is pleased with the club's business in the summer transfer window.
The Black Cats have added nine new players to their squad in recent weeks, including the £8.5m signing of Emanuele Giaccherini from Juventus.
"The quality of players that the manager has brought in is pleasing," ITV Sport quotes O'Shea as saying.
"Giaccherini has not been here long, but already you can see from his first touch he's got that bit of class - it's very pleasing on the eye."
Sunderland start the new Premier League season at home to Fulham on August 17.
