Stoke City's assistant manager Mark Bowen has dismissed speculation that the club will make another move to sign Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole this summer.
The Potters have been heavily linked with the 27-year-old on two occasions over the last 18 months, with a recent report having suggested that they will try their luck again at the end of the season.
However, when asked about that rumour, Bowen insisted that Stoke already have enough options in Cattermole's position.
"That's an area of the pitch where we've got strength in depth," he told the Sunderland Echo.
Former England Under-21 international Cattermole is contracted to the Stadium of Light until June 2016.
