Sunderland have reportedly accepted an offer from Middlesbrough for the transfer of midfielder Paddy McNair.
Brighton & Hove Albion allegedly had two bids turned down for the 23-year-old, but were believed to be below the Black Cats' asking price for the player.
According to Sky Sports News, Middlesbrough have now had a £5m offer accepted by Sunderland for McNair, with the transfer expected to be finalised in the coming days.
The Northern Ireland international made 18 appearances for Sunderland last term, scoring five goals as his side were relegated to League One.
McNair, who began his career at Manchester United, has also earned 15 caps for his country.
