Sunderland have allegedly held talks with Dylan McGeouch in the last 24 hours.
The Scotland international could join the Black Cats on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Hibernian.
According to Sky Sports News, McGeouch met with Sunderland representatives at the club's training ground yesterday but may also receive offers from Blackburn Rovers, Queens Park Rangers and Aberdeen.
McGeouch started his senior career with Celtic before completing a permanent move to Hibs in 2015 following an impressive loan stint in Edinburgh.
The midfielder has earned two caps for Scotland, making his debut against Peru in May this year.
