Sunderland have made a £2.5m bid for Anderlecht defender Roland Juhasz, according to a report.
Black Cats boss Martin O'Neill has made a move for the Hungary international in a bid to toughen up his defence, The Sun claims.
Sunderland are hoping to see off Premier League rivals Everton and West Ham United, who are also thought to be interested in the 29-year-old.
Juhasz has helped the Belgian side to four titles since 2005 and O'Neill is hoping to get the deal wrapped up as soon as possible.
Juhasz joined Anderlecht from MTK Hungaria, making his debut for the side against Chelsea in the Champions League.
