Sunderland could reportedly fail in their pursuit of West Ham United defender James Collins due to Slaven Bilic's current injury problems.
Black Cats manager Sam Allardyce is believed to be keen on adding Collins to his squad in a bid to improve his defence.
However, according to The Chronicle, the Hammers are likely to keep hold of the defender due to the injury problems at Upton Park.
Collins's contract with West Ham is due to expire at the end of the season.
