Joselu scored a hat-trick to help Eintracht Frankfurt book their place in the third round of the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday night.
The on-loan striker was the star of the show as the 2006 runners-up overcame SV Sandhausen 4-2 at the Commerzbank-Arena.
He broke the deadlock on 19 minutes and then doubled his tally from the penalty spot just after half time.
The visitors shocked the home fans by levelling the scores midway through the second half, as Sebastian Rode scored an own goal before Simon Tuting completed the comeback.
However, parity lasted just six minutes. Vaclav Kadlec put Frankfurt back in front and Joselu completed the scoring in stoppage time.
