Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has said that he is delighted for his trio of players competing at the Olympic Games.
Swans players Joe Allen, Neil Taylor and Scott Sinclair have all played a prominent role for Great Britain in the opening two games of the men's football tournament.
Laudrup believes that this can only be a good thing for the club.
He said: "It's great because Swansea are one of the smaller clubs in the Premier League.
"We are not Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea or Arsenal so it's great to have three players from an egotistical point of view.
"I'm happy for them and I'm happy for the club too because it's good for the image of Swansea to have three players there."
Laudrup will hope to have the trio fit and ready for City's opening Premier League match against Queens Park Rangers on August 18.
